"The cozy, very small restaurant ..." is what a large search engine says. To be honest, I was a bit negatively surprised by the reality. If the restaurant hadn't had such good reviews, we would certainly not have returned - or vice versa after a look in the "winter garden" (guest room) on the paragraph. Small, that's right, although that doesn't even have to be negative. But by cozy I mean something else. But see for yourself the photos, they say more than a thousand words. The way to the restrooms in particular takes getting used to, the menus on the chair or the sneakers under the chair ... But well, as I said: Many very good reviews and the restaurant was initially full and then cleared up later. The waiting time for the food was a bit long, but with the probably very small kitchen it was actually a miracle what they conjured up. The service but friendly. Because in terms of taste we had absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the fried (and unfortunately not grilled) satay skewers (€ 5.00) were very tender and tasty, as were baked wantan (€ 4.50) and Bo La Lot (€ 5.00). the two main courses then rounded off the positive eating picture. Crispy duck (really very crispy and tender) with hoisin sauce (€ 10.80) and crispy chicken (not just breast and therefore very juicy) with peanut sauce (€ 9.50). What do you notice here? In relation to the main courses, the starters are not exactly cheap. Overall, I found the total price to be completely okay. Desserts would have laughed at me on the menu, but there was no more than one Vietnamese iced coffee (€ 4) in terms of quantity. For the sake of completeness: 0.4l Spezi costs € 3.60 and a 0.4l spritzer is available for € 3.60. Food 5 stars Prices 4.5 stars Ambience 2 stars (sorry) Service 4 stars Cleanliness 3 stars Waiting time 3.5 stars Conclusion: 3.66 stars, which of course I round up.

Always good, no matter whether on site in the restaurant and mini courtyard beer garden or as take away for home. Everything is under control.

Food super delicious .. Hygiene yes what can I say air up but not bad. Drinks prices ridiculously high. But the taste of the food makes up for it.

The food was okay, but the service was underground. The drinks came after 45 minutes. It took longer at the next table. But the neighboring table "got" the food after 1.5 hours. It took us 20 minutes longer. We ordered about the same time. At at least one other table I also heard a complaint that after 45 minutes there were still no drinks. While we were waiting we always went out to eat. This was also given to the next table as a reason: the takeaway meal must be ready after 20 minutes. On the one hand a bit bold, on the other hand that doesn't explain why you wait so long for the drinks. There was no drink on the house or a price reduction and the apology was quite half-hearted.

First time today. Picked up food. Spring roll underground to disgusting. Normal dish (number 66) was average to ok. The price is definitely above average. So do the math yourself.

By far the best Vietnamese I and my family know. The staff is always very friendly and the food is incredibly tasty. We particularly like the sweet and sour chicken and the vegetables with tofu. We recommend!

We tried to come for Valentine's Day but it was fully booked. We came back a month later and it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I love East Asian food, specially Vietnamese and this is surely one of the best I've had. The curry is delicious, perfect balance of flavors and the presentation is so amusing. The Pho is perfect, well served and very tasty and aromatic. The service couldn't be better, it feels like family, the owner is so sweet and kind. Will definitely be back.

Small but nice We have already celebrated here with 20 people. With so many in a group, everything went great too. The service always polite and courteous, thoughtful. A well-coordinated team is a guarantee. Great for intolerances: the ingredients are specified for all dishes!

Good value for a low price. Spring rolls are delicious. Pho is pretty good too. Some dishes are a bit too much on the sweet side. Staff is friendly.

Extremely bad service (the drinks were only taken 40 minutes after arrival in the restaurant and you are not aware of any problem ...). The food is good, but unfortunately the rest of the food isn't right at all. And there were some items missing on the invoice, which were then automatically included in the calculation - I think it has a system ... Unfortunately, no recommendation ...

Good food

Small place, good food but service is not good. Waitress had literally no time to take order or give bill, she kept rushing and we ended up eating something we did not want to because we ordered in rush. Waitress could not even speak English, that was adding on to the whole mess.

I went along with friends who stayed at the Mekong several times and I must say that everything they offered me to taste was very good and well presented. I imagine this is a Vietnamese cuisine for Europeans as the spicy, of which I am not very fond of, was well endurable. The restaurant is large and has a part outside which is accessed through the entrance corridor. The place is well attended, Wednesday, the day I was there, it was well crowded, a reservation is advisable. The menu is very extensive, and for drinks, apart from the classic German beer, they also offer typical Vietnamese drinks. The very friendly and professional staff, you can see the years of experience. Satisfied! I don't give the last star just because I have no measure of the type of cuisine, but certainly: Recommended!

Really not good service.....

Germanized, not authentic

Fast service, good lunch menu, good prices. I'm not too much into asian food so I can't judge it other than my plates came hot, tasty, fresh things felt fresh, It was not salty. Bland on the spice, but this is Germany and they brought the spice when asked.

I have been to this restaurant for the second time and I can say it is amazing. The food is very fresh and tasty, the service is very accommodating and price performance is really good. The atmosphere is ok, you should definitely book. There are very traditional dishes from Vietnam and not just the standard dishes as with other Asians. Definitely worth a visit.

Great food at great prices. Could eat here everyday. Pretty cozy atmosphere. Always full, so reservations a must.

A typical Thai restaurant. Basically, the taste of food is excellent, but there is a relief. Location is not good, parking lot is narrow, and there is a disadvantage that you have to wait too long after ordering.
